Subscription Policy

Welcome to all subscribers and would be subscribers. You have two subscription options a single month trial for $100, or a quarterly subscription for $250/quarter. The 10th of the month is an important date. All monthly subscriptions purchased before the 10th are treated as a full month. Purchases after the 10th are treated as occurring on the first day of the following month. Therefore, a 1 month trial subscription purchased on the 9th of November ends November 30. But, a one month trial purchased on the 11th of November expires December 31st. The same treatment holds for quarterly subscriptions.Subscribers get access to the one of the best educational newsletters available. I posted all these trades real time for my subscribers:

Option Trades:
IWM Jul 85 Calls up 107.21%; SPY Jul 134 Calls up 62.92%

ETFS:
TNA up 15.05%, ERX up 12.27%(entered week prior), BGU up 8.00%, FAS up 7.5%, QLD 5.27%, SSO up 5.24%, FCX up 4.96% and DGP up 0.76%.

These returns bring the two month returns to 28.64% on all posted trades (not including gold, which brings the returns up to 37.81%, but not everyone was around when that trade was initiated), not a bad 60 days! Two weeks ago we entered five trades, as of last week here's how we stood:

SPY JUL 134 calls up 53.51%, BGU up 9.1%, TNA up 9.8%, FAS up 4.4% and ERX up 1.88%

Another week has now past and here's the latest:

SPX JUL 134 calls up 114.04%, BGU up 16.13%, TNA up 16.19%, FAS up 9.65%, exited ERX for 1.17% profit. These are TWO WEEK RETURNS!

April 9th Updated Trading Table, Some profits taken this week

Here's a copy of the table that my subscribers get each night. I have been raising my stops up as the indexes have steadily climbed, and on Friday several of my stops were taken out. This table shows the cumulative profits just since 4/1/2011. The booked trade number represents trades closed out or stopped out, the active trades are trades that are active and the profit is based upon Friday's closing prices. The indicator system has been long Gold for quite some time, so I show two figures for the active trades, the lower figure represents the Gold trade only from a recent observation I made at the first of April.

Weekend update

The chart above presents my two favorite counts. The NDX count is the more bullish count that wave 5 of (i) of P3 is still ahead of us, either immediately or after a bit more of a pullback to finish 4. The SPX on the hand illustrates the near term bearish count in which the pullback has only just begun. On my subscription site, we follow 10 indexes, so while there is some ambiguity for the moment in certain indexes such as the NDX and SPX, there are others that couldn't more obvious and thus a trader can over weight those if they'd like until the direction becomes more clear on others. The pullback should find resistance at either the pink lower trend line or the black lower trend line depending on whether this is intermediate wave (2) or minor wave 4.

Well as my counts from last week indicated a change of direction was coming. Following 10 indexes as we do on the subscription blog helps to also see how a particular index can point to a turn. Here's a possible count, but I'd rather trade technical indicators as we do on the subscription site.

Thursday Afternoon Update; Morning - Alternative Counts

Post closing count. What is showing as the primary count has been my alternative count and vice versa. RSI is really building negative divergence plus the TNX has broken down as I noted a few days back, so a much overdue correction could be forthcoming. But why trade and guess at counts without combining it with sound technical analysis. On my subscription blog, my subscribers are enjoying 10 winning trades as all systems are in the money and have been making money all month.

Here are my updated counts for the SPX and DOW. But, I prefer to use EW counts as only a supplement to my trading. Wednesday morning update - Inflection Point

SPX and DOW made new highs as I expected and are now at critical inflection points. The SPX has reached the key pivot area 1334ish and upper trend line resistance. Should it impulse up through this area and exceed 1345, then I would expect it to be unimpeded until the 1360 level. On the other hand, this would be an ideal place for it to take a much deserved and overdo break.

Tuesday 12/15 update

The wedge broke but until the channel falls, it might be just another bear trap.

Yesterday could very well have been the end of wave [iii], if so then we should see a week or so of retracement in wave [iv] before the final push up to around 1365 in mid-March to end intermediate wave (1) of P3. Watch the lower trend line on the chart above for confirmation. The TNX looks to be leading the way once again, having broken down several days prior (below). On my subscription site, I track 10 major indexes via my proprietary swing system. You can have access to all 10 for only $49/month.

Updated Wave Counts for the SPX, DOW, RUT and COMPQ

Here are the updated wave counts for the major indexes. All but the RUT favor a count of wave [iii] of [v] of (1) of P3, the alternative count, which I also believe bests suits the RUT is that this is an extended wave [v] of (1) of P3. If this is the third primary wave of a new bull market, then one would expect it to be stronger than the first primary wave (i.e. the wave off the March 2009 lows). And, with this week's action that is just the case for each of the indexes. Thus far the Nasdaq has gained 749 points since the P2 low or approximately 1.47*(1) of P1 (just 13 points shy of a tidy 1.5x). The RUT has gained 234 points, precisely 1.382 times its intermediate wave (1) of P1. Meanwhile the Dow and SPX have only out-gained (1) of P1 by roughly 11%. The target I gave my subscribers for the SPX this week was 1330.50ish and it turned out to be pretty close.

On the subscription site alphahorn.wordpress.com I follow 10 major indexes and give nightly updates (and often daily ones too) of the trends for each and whether they are on buys or sells. This week the Transports, which had been lagging the other major indexes gave my system a "BUY" on Wednesday, and my subscribers have benefited from two great days of IYT and FDX long positions. Transports Swing System

My subscribers were given a buy signal for the lagging transports on Wednesday and it has performed very nicely ever since. We cover 10 indexes (SPX, INDU, Nasdaq, Russell, Energy, Transports, Financials, Staples, Gold and Copper), so there is always a wave to catch.

Well, my count seems to be playing out for now. Five waves up and then wave (iv) should retrace to 1275-1299 before the final push up to complete intermediate (1). The alternative would be that these next five waves finish intermediate (1), but we don't have to worry about the count, we have a system to follow.

1308.98 is the wave i of v of (iii) high, any breach of this and the larger degree wave (iv) of [iii] is underway. Once this wave is confirmed it should retrace 23.6%-38.2% (see chart above - possible targets are 1295, 1277, both correspond nicely to trend lines (black solid and orange dashed)
